The three limits users often confuse

Having one type of allowance does not remove another limit. For example, an account can still have credits while a Free plan feature, such as the upload method or export resolution, is limited.
What uses Free credits
One-time signup credits can be used for eligible AI Notes, clipping, and generation tasks, subject to Free feature limits. Some tasks are charged by input video length, while other tools can use credits when a new result is generated or applied.
Daily Video Notes credits are more limited. They can only be used for:
Transcript
Subtitle
Summary
Mind Map
Deep Questions
AI Chat
They cannot be used for AI Clipping, Game Clipping, Find Moments, or video editing tools.
Basic manual edits do not use credits. Examples include:
Trimming a clip
Manual layout or reframe changes
Editing text
Moving items on the timeline
Adjusting styles, timing, or placement
Adding non-generated elements

Why a reset may not change your balance
If you expected a reset but your balance did not change, check which allowance you were viewing:
One-time signup credits do not reset.
Daily Video Notes credits reset daily, but cannot be used for clips or editing.
Paid monthly credits reset on the subscription credit date, not necessarily on the first day of the calendar month.
Refresh the page or sign out and sign in again to make sure the displayed balance is current.
If the product shows a reset date or countdown, use that value as the reference. If the time has passed and the same limit remains, contact Support with a screenshot, your time zone, and the name of the tool.
Why you may be asked to upgrade
Free may show an upgrade message when:
Your one-time credits are too low for the task.
You selected local device upload.
You selected direct social publishing.
You selected a higher export resolution.
The requested feature or AI model is not included in Free.
Your video exceeds a Free feature limit.
An upgrade message does not always mean that your entire account is out of credits. Read the message carefully to identify whether it refers to credits, a feature, or an upload method.
Free uploads and supported links
Free does not include local device uploads. You can use supported video links when the selected tool and source are available to your account.

Free exports and storage
Free exports are available up to 720p, subject to the source resolution.
WayinVideo does not add a watermark.
Videos and moments on Free are kept for 3 days.
Download important results before they expire.
Direct social publishing is not included in Free.

If a failed task used your credits
If a task fails and does not deliver a completed result, the credits used by that task should be returned. A completed result that you choose not to use is different from a failed task.
If the task failed but the credits did not return after the status updated, contact Support with:
Your account email
The tool and task type
The approximate start and failure time
The displayed balance before and after the task, if known
A screenshot of the error and current balance
When to upgrade
Consider a paid plan when you need:
Monthly credits that reset each billing cycle
Local uploads
Higher export quality
Longer feature limits
More storage
Direct or scheduled social publishing
Bulk workflows, Brand Kit, templates, or higher processing priority
